Satyanarayan Katha is a sacred Hindu ritual dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his manifestation as Satyanarayan, the embodiment of truth and righteousness. This puja is traditionally performed to express gratitude to the Lord for fulfilling wishes and to seek his blessings for prosperity, good health, peace, and success in life.
The katha (storytelling) is a vital part of the ritual, narrating the importance of truth, devotion, and moral living through ancient stories. It is usually conducted on Purnima (Full Moon Day) or on special family occasions such as marriage, housewarming, birthdays, or the beginning of new ventures.
At Shubh Chandra Jha, the Satyanarayan Katha is performed with complete Vedic rituals, including Sankalp, Puja, Katha recitation, and Aarti, guided by experienced priests. We provide all essential Samagri, including prasad ingredients like wheat flour, sugar, banana, tulsi leaves, incense, and more.
The total cost of the puja is Rs. 3,200 (with Samagri).
